ECOSE® FORMALDEHYDE-FREE BINDER

ECOSE® is a small part of our product, but it makes a big difference. For more than 15 years, our unique plant-based binder ECOSE® has been used to create healthier homes and buildings. It’s low-carbon and low-VOC, and is backed up by extensive testing and certifications such as Ashma & Allergy Friendly Certification. We are proud that our products use ECOSE® binder, which has allowed us to remove formaldehyde, a red-list chemical, from our company.

RECYCLED GLASS

The main ingredient of our fiberglass insulation products is recycled glass, which is verified at 55% through our UL certifications for recycled glass content. 10 railcars — that's about how much recycled glass (or cullet) we put to good use each day. We start with cullet, which can reduce manufacturing energy consumption up to 20%.  The result is a product that takes just 45 days* to recover the energy used to make, ship and install it. Once installed, our products continue to save energy.
